Turkey Demands the US Immediately Withdraw From YPG Occupied Syrian City of Manbij

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has issued a statement demanding the US withdraw its forces from the northern Syrian city of Manbij in Aleppo Governorate. Like the YPG-PYD controlled city of Afrin, Manbij has fallen to the Kurdish regime called “Rojava” by its supporters. Yesterday, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to neutralise YPG terrorists all the way to the Iraqi border. This includes regions that are controlled by the US.

Manbij is next on the geographical list of cities Turkey seeks to secure from the YPG and the first city controlled by the illegal Kurdish regime that has a notable American presence.
